Terms & Conditions

Sahitya Sanjeevani · sahityasanjeevani.com

Effective date / last revision of the source policy: 10 October 2026.

1. Introduction and acceptance

Sahitya Sanjeevani provides a digital literary platform for publication, reading, author profiles, competitions, e-books, literary news and related features. By registering or using services, members agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and relevant service-specific conditions.

Separate consent will be obtained where required for a feature. If you disagree, do not use the relevant membership or service. These terms do not remove statutory rights under applicable law.

2. Services

Available facilities may include publication and reading; writer profiles and biographies; prose, poetry and genre collections; likes, loves, follows, comments, replies and shares; news, reviews, articles and blogs; competitions and honours; e-book creation, preview, publication and sales where available; literary videos and YouTube live events; poster and cover creation; the syllabic-weight calculator and study material; voluntary writer rewards; and related community services.

Facilities may be added, changed, limited or discontinued over time.

3. Membership and registration

Ordinary membership is free. A single membership permits participation as writer and reader. Provide accurate name, username, mobile number, email address and other required details.

The current system allows up to three accounts per mobile number, each with a different username and email address. Members must maintain accurate registration information.

Fraudulent accounts using another person’s identity, name, photo or private details are prohibited. Additional verification may be required for security or other legitimate administrative reasons.

4. Passwords and account security

Members are responsible for account security. Do not share passwords, recovery PINs, OTPs or other confidential authentication details.

Unauthorised access to another account, theft of account information and attempts to breach security are prohibited. Contact the administration promptly if unauthorised use is suspected.

5. Minors

Membership and personal-data processing for people under eighteen are subject to applicable law. Where verified parental consent is legally required, the relevant membership or data-collection facility should not be used without it.

Minors’ contact details, identity information and photographs require special care. Parents may contact the administration about an account or content.

6. Originality and copyright

We respect original literature and intellectual property. Contributors confirm that they created the material or have lawful permission to publish it.

Unauthorised publication of another person’s poetry, stories, essays, books, translations, pictures, recordings, photos or other protected material is prohibited. Attribution alone does not automatically permit republication of an entire protected work.

Public-domain material, licensed material and legally permitted uses remain subject to their relevant conditions. Confirmed infringement may result in removal; repeated infringement may lead to suspension or termination.

7. Ownership and permission to publish

Publication does not automatically transfer copyright to Sahitya Sanjeevani. Original rights remain with authors or lawful rightsholders.

Submission gives the platform a non-exclusive permission to store, display, technically adapt, distribute and present content through available sharing features, only as necessary to operate the service and appropriately promote the work.

Significant editorial changes to meaning should normally require permission, except changes necessary for legal, security or technical reasons.

Authors may request removal; requests will be reviewed under legitimate grounds and applicable law. Previously downloaded, shared or search-engine copies cannot always be removed.

8. Prohibited content

Do not publish material promoting unlawful activities; hatred, harassment, discrimination or violence against people or communities; child sexual exploitation; obscene or illegal sexual content; threats, blackmail or improper disclosure of private information; plagiarism or infringement; fraud, false identity, fake awards or misleading financial claims; malware, spam, phishing or unsafe links; or encouragement of unlawful or real harm.

Sensitive subjects in literary, historical, critical or educational contexts will be assessed in context and in light of their purpose. Lawful literary criticism and disagreement will not be prohibited merely because they express disagreement.

9. AI-generated material

Responsible use of digital and AI tools is supported. Where predominantly AI-generated work presented as wholly personal original writing could mislead readers, authors may be asked to explain AI’s role.

Assisted content remains subject to copyright, factual accuracy, originality and community rules. Mass publication solely to influence search ranking, slightly altered copying from other sites and misleading content are unacceptable. Quality and usefulness for readers take priority.

10. Comments, likes, loves, follows and shares

Use interaction features respectfully and authentically. Fake likes, automated comments, bots, purchased reactions, harassment and other artificial engagement are prohibited.

Literary criticism must not become personal insult, threats or harassment. Reported comments or other content may be reviewed, removed, hidden or restricted.

11. Competitions

Follow the rules announced for the relevant competition. Only original or authorised entries are accepted. Eligibility, deadlines, selection criteria and prizes depend on that event’s published rules.

Influencing competitions through multiple accounts, fake voting, purchased likes or artificial reader reactions is prohibited. The current system assigns different weights to editorial review, reader reactions, meaningful comments and genuine participation; the evaluation method published on the competition page applies. Plagiarism, rule-breaking or fraud may disqualify an entry. We aim for fairness; valid complaints or evaluation errors may be reviewed. Winners’ names, approved biographies and winning works may be displayed on the website. A cash award, book, certificate or honour is valid only when explicitly announced for that competition.

12. Founder membership and honours

Early members and contributors may receive certificates or literary recognition. These recognise literary participation, not government approval, academic degrees, employment credentials or statutory qualifications.

Members should keep names and profile details accurate for certificates. Contact the administration to correct record errors.

13. E-book creation and publication

Members can organise writing, pictures, introductions, contents lists and related material as books. They must have lawful usage rights to all works, images, covers and other included material. Unauthorised inclusion of another author’s works is prohibited.

Preview, download and publication follow the technical and commercial terms shown on the relevant page. If sales are offered, price, payment method, author proceeds, platform fees and other applicable conditions will be disclosed before purchase.

Access after purchase depends on payment confirmation and service terms. Technical failures, duplicate payments or incorrect charges will be investigated and resolved under applicable law and the published refund policy.

Purchase does not transfer copyright. Resale, unlawful distribution or public uploading of a book licensed for personal use without permission is prohibited.

14. Voluntary writer rewards

Ordinary membership and ordinary literary publication require no compulsory payment to the organisation. Writers may voluntarily provide a UPI ID, receiving QR code or related details; readers or well-wishers may voluntarily send appreciation.

A reward is not mandatory membership payment, a guarantee of a prize or a guaranteed literary reaction. Direct payments are subject to bank or provider terms. We do not ask for UPI PINs, OTPs or banking passwords.

Disputes follow the relevant parties’ and provider’s procedures. Payments processed directly by the website are subject to its declared complaint and refund provisions.

15. Paid services

If optional premium membership, special publication services, e-book sales or other paid facilities are introduced, their price, scope, fees, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be shown before payment.

An optional paid service does not automatically turn ordinary free membership into paid membership. Pay only through official verified arrangements displayed on the website.

16. News, blogs and reviews

News and factual articles should use reliable sources, available records and literary research. Do not reproduce an entire news item, review or other publication without appropriate permission.

Distinguish facts, opinions and personal interpretations as clearly as possible. Important reported errors may be reviewed and corrected. Sponsorship or financial support from a book, publisher, writer or commercial organisation will be disclosed where necessary.

17. Videos and live broadcasts

Contributors must have rights to included material, music, images, readings and recordings. Unauthorised transmission of protected content is unacceptable.

External videos, including YouTube, are subject to their own service terms. Continuous availability cannot always be guaranteed when external services fail, remove material or cease operating.

18. External links and booksellers

Links may lead to booksellers, publishers, educational resources, YouTube, Amazon or other websites. Their providers determine prices, availability, refunds, delivery, privacy and other terms.

A bookseller link does not necessarily make Sahitya Sanjeevani a direct party to the sale. Commission or other commercial benefits from links will be clearly disclosed in accordance with applicable rules.

19. Advertising and Google AdSense

The website may use AdSense or other advertising services. Ads will be clearly separated from editorial content and normal navigation.

Artificial ad clicks, bots, purchased clicks, rewards for clicks and improper inflation of impressions are prohibited. Enticing or pressuring members to click advertisements is unacceptable.

The Privacy Policy explains advertising data and cookies. The website and users must comply with applicable Google Publisher Policies.

20. Personal information and privacy

Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Do not disclose others’ private contact information, phone numbers, email, addresses, financial information or other sensitive details without appropriate permission.

Be careful about public profile information. Read Privacy Policy in the shared About & Policies section.

21. Copyright complaints and removal

Authors, publishers, photographers and other rightsholders may complain about unauthorised publication. Include the work’s title, its website URL, original material or evidence of ownership, contact details and a clear description of infringement.

Complaints will be reviewed; material may be temporarily restricted or removed where necessary. The member concerned may be offered an opportunity to respond where appropriate. Repeated serious infringement can result in account restrictions.

22. Reports, complaints and appeals

Members may report inappropriate content, harassment, incorrect attribution, plagiarism, impersonation or other violations. Action considers evidence, legal requirements and site policies.

Where appropriate, members may request review of a decision. We aim to treat complainants and the people complained about fairly.

23. Suspension and termination

Serious or repeated violations, fraud, infringement, harassment, spam, security risks or other legitimate reasons may lead to action against content or accounts.

Action may include removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension or termination. Reasons will be given where appropriate and practicable.

24. Availability

We try to keep technical facilities working smoothly. Server problems, security updates, maintenance, internet interruptions or other technical causes may temporarily affect services.

No absolute guarantee is made that a feature will always be available. Applicable statutory rights are unaffected.

25. Limits of liability

Members’ personal views, works and claims do not necessarily represent the platform’s official views. Writers are responsible for their material’s originality, rights and factual claims.

The administration is not completely freed from its statutory responsibilities, content complaints or necessary corrective action. Liability is determined by applicable law.

26. Law and dispute resolution

Applicable Indian laws govern these terms. We will first try to resolve website-related disputes through appropriate dialogue and complaint handling. Unresolved disputes fall within the competent courts or other statutory forums under applicable law.

27. Amendments

Terms may change with services, technical needs, legal provisions or community arrangements. Revised terms will be published with an update date. Additional notice or consent arrangements will be provided where required for significant changes.

28. Contact

Use Contact Us for questions about terms, membership, complaints, copyright or website features. Privacy Policy is available in the same shared section.
